My Projects

Indonesian Film Archivist Society

Indonesian Film Archivist Society (IFAS) is a film archiving community based in the city of Yogyakarta.

Inspired by the understanding of decentralization of archives, we believe that film archiving is a collective work and open to all communities, especially in Indonesia. IFAS was initiated in 2023 by several film archivists in Indonesia to create an alternative space for learning, networking, and collaborating in mapping, researching, and conducting film archiving works collaboratively and inclusively with various communities in Indonesia and internationally.

This was done to respond to the lack of learning spaces in understanding film archives and film archiving in Indonesia.
